The webinar, entitled Leo XIV: The North and South American Pope will take place on February 19, 2026, featuring Rev. Prof. John Wauck (Pontifical University of the Holy Cross) and Gretchen Crowe, editor-in-chief of OSV News. 

This opening event will introduce key themes and offer an early look at the topics and discussions that will shape the upcoming professional seminar The Church Up Close: Covering Catholicism in the Age of Leo XIV, to be held in Rome on September 7-12, 2026.
